Hey fellow White Mages! As always, I’ll update WHM BiS first out of all the classes! If you’re curious what gear you should be working towards in Heavesnward 3.0 for your WHM – you’ve found the right place! Welcome to our White Mage Best-in-Slot Guide!!! All this info comes from our (my? myself?) resident WHM: Mahiko San!!!
Quick stat summary: PIE > SS > CRIT >= DET
For the sake of “interchangeable filler slots”, Orison <-> Gordian serve as natural replacements to each other (May or may not be discussed within guide, but take that as an ‘unspoken truth’).
|Body||Gordian Gown of Healing|
|Gloves||Orison Fingerless Gloves OR ANY|
|Belt||Fabled Belt of Healing|
|Boots||Gordian Gambieras of Healing|
|Neck||Gordian Neckband of Healing|
|Earrings||Fabled Earrings of Healing|
|Bracelet||Fabled Bracelet of Healing|
|Ring||Gordian Ring of Healing|
|Ring||Fabled Ring of Healing|
Weapon: While the Gordian Cane is much better than Seraph, I still advise picking it up IF A4S seems like a distant dream. It’s still a good buy, and well, boobies. I foresee most WHM buying the weapon first (I did, and I don’t regret it).
Gloves: Here I feel that DET and CRIT substat choice doesn’t make a huge impact. Feel free to use either of the 210 gloves.
Earring: It’s not a huge deal whichever one you get. CRIT and DET aren’t too big of a deal in this patch.
Ring: Esoterics ring for WHM isn’t too good, but we don’t have much of a choice in the matter. Buy this last, or even save ESO by making some kind of melded Ring…
Other gear choices seem pretty set given the goals of this particular BiS. Overall, WHM is pretty damn strong in this patch, and basically as long as you have a decent pool of piety, you should be more than ready for ANY encounter.
A1S Pages: Use it for: Ring > Neck > Any fillers.
A2S Pages: Use it for Boots > Glove (Equally BiS) > Belt
A3S Pages: ESO Head & Legs makes it for all A3S pages going to Illuminati Gobtwine. Value.
A4S Pages: Shirt > Weapon (You should have Seraph Cane at the very least by now)
“What should I buy first with Esoterics for my WHM!?” Here you go…
- Weapon: not BiS but definitely worth it for White Mage. If you have a Gordian Cane
- Orison Skirt: A big investment but definitely worth the ESO.
- Orison Hood: Secondary SS which is why…
- Orison Gloves: Is bought next, which packs DET and drops from 2.
- Fabled Belt:
- Fabled Bracelet:
- Fabled Earrings: To be honest, if you have this or Gordian it’s not a huge deal.
- Fabled Ring: The worst of the bunch but you’re forced to buy it anyway.
- EVERYTHING ELSE IS NON-BiS: Buy if you need more “power”.
On belt: If you have the Illuminati Gobcoat, move it up after weapon. Upgrading this asap to 210 is value.
If you ever find your WHM in need of VIT: First off we identify the worst accessory. That would likely be Fabled Ring of Healing. Luckily the melded counterpart isn’t bad. Here’s how I would meld…
Chrysolite Ring of Healing: VIT IV, VIT IV, SS IV, SS IV, SS III
I wont talk about melded gear on WHM yet (due to the ordering and the existence of easily obtainable filler 190 gear, versus the currently brutally expensive 180 crafted). Will update once im done with all BiS.
WHM Crafted 180 Left: Melding and notes
Keep in mind you can meld ACCURACY in place of any SS/DET or CRIT melds. Peronsally I’d advise against replacing Piety with ACC, though.
Aurum Regis Crown of Healing: Piety IV x5
Pretty Self explanatory. Piety DET SS is pretty good.
Astral Silk Doublet of Healing: SS IV x 5.
I personally melded mine with ACC IV x 5.
Astral Silk Gloves of Healing: PIE IV – PIE IV – ANY x3.
The only choices for your ANY x 3 Are ACC > CRIT >> DET.
Griffin Leather Corset of Healing: Piety IV x 5.
Not bad. It caps PIE & CRIT, while having SS near max.
Astral Silk Bottoms of Healing: SS IV – SS IV – ANY x 3
For ANY: x 3, ACC > CRIT >> DET
Griffin Leather Boots of Healing: PIETY IV x 5.
Junk. Doesn’t cap PIE, and has DET>CRIT base stats.
