ffxiv warrior guide faq stats race skills traitsHow do I become a Warrior in ARR?
You need to be a Marauder (30) and Gladiator (15) First! If you’ve met these requirements, you can return to the Marauders Guild in Limsa Lominsa  to get your quest to obtain the “Soul of the Warrior“. In FFXIV ARR, becoming a job is as simple as equipping the required Soul after finishing the quest.

What’s the Warrior playstyle?
Warriors are a versatile job class, they can decent amount of damage and tank well. This makes them valuable in a party as they can tank or off-tank and do some direct damage when needed. Warriors skills compliment the Marauder skills very well, Defiance is a utility skills that basically says ‘Beef up and attack me’ while this is very nicely accompanied by the rest of the Warrior skills that deal damage without seeing the damage penalty of Defiance. Steel Cyclone will be a key skills in gathering ads while doing boss fights.

The whole “Wrath” and “Infuriated” Warrior system add a whole new layer of gameplay to the Marauder. Learning its ins and outs will separate a good warrior from a bad one!

What are good Warrior stats?
Simply, get as much STR and VIT as you can. It would really depend on the playing style you want to use. Our preferrence would be to get a little higher STR vs VIT. On gear and materia you have a lot of choices. STR/VIT, HP or Emnity would be good choices.

What are the Warrior Traits?
As of now, there are no advanced job specific traits. You inherit all Marauder traits you’ve already learned.

What are the Warrior Skills?
Aside from the skills below, you may use any skill you’ve learned as an Marauder. Warriors also have access to some Pugilist and Gladiator skills.
