L35 WVR Leves Items Discussion:
[H] Linen Trousers – Too many different mats…
[C] Linen Wedge Cap of Gathering – Usual courier..
[L] Linen Tights – Recommended.
[L] Linen Cowl – uses 4 cloth…
[L] Linen Coatee of Crafting – Not a bad chocie for singles.
Continue the linen grinding this tier whenever able. Again, our good ‘ol Sylphic friends sell deez Linen.
Level 35 tier begins the “hassle” courier tiers. So not only do you have to teleport, you now have to take a choco porter or ride yourself.
Singles: Hmm, Linen Cowl is your only real choice here. I mean, Coatee is too similar to the courier recipe (So you may as well have, right?). Linen Trousers is LAUGHABLY BAD.
Triples: Honestly, quite value – Linen Tights has a hassle-free recipe that you can use some of your HQ cloths to improve chances on.
Courier: Really time consuming in this tier, courier loses a lot of it’s value. However, it still remains a valid choice especially for the more AFK oriented times you’re leveling up. Linen Wedge Cap of Gathering isn’t expensive to make anyway.
The only ‘terrible choices’ in this tier are the non-Linen Cowl singles. Aside from that, there’s no true mistake you can make in this tier. Personally? I did Linen Tights triples.
Weaver Level 40 to 45
L40 WVR Class Quest Item: (HQ) Woolen Tights

L40 WVR Leves Items Discussion:
[H][R] 3(9)x Linen Deerstalker: Best Triple this tier, NPCable.
[H] 1x Linen Smock: Godlike.
Woolen Kecks: Even though it’s a courier… I’d avoid.
Woolen Hat:lolwool. Avoid.
Woolen Tights: lolwool. Avoid.
Ranger’s Tunic: lolwool. Avoid.
Sylph = Linen. Reminder number three. At any time of your choosing, grinding on a bit of Wool Yarn and Woolen Cloth may be of some use.
Singles: Uses Linen and Velveteen? A good thing! Linen Smock is a godlike leve choice that uses older tier mats and has massive EXP gains. Lanolin is dirt cheap anyway. Oh, before you check Rangers Tunic – yes it requires Wool.
Triples: clearly Linen Deerstalker since the other requires Wool Yarn.
Courier: Well, sadly this tiers courier needs wool. You know what else it needs? Steel Ingot and Boar Leather. It’s a bit of a hassle all in all and I would avoid it.
I personally spammed Linen Smock here with a smockering or the triple Deerstalker a few times.
Weaver Level 45 to 50
L45 WVR Class Quest Item:
(All HQ) Woolen Beret, Woolen Gown, Woolen Gaskins

L45 WVR Leves Items Discussion:
Woolen Smock: Triples are both sucky.
[H] 1x Felt Hat: Best of the “worst”
[C] 1x Felt Chausses: About “on par” with the suckiness, but it’s a courier.
Woolen Deerstalker: Triples are both sucky.
Felt Robe: Avoid
Rainmaker’s Tunic: Avoid
While the new changes made WVR CONSIDERABLY EASIER than in 2.0+, this tier remains quite bad still!
Triples: are both subpar and there’s no noticable gain when choosing one or the other. Recipes very similar.
Singles: I cannot, in good conscience recommend any of these as good, but the lesser evil would be Felt Hat simply due to least amount of Felt, and simplest recipe.
Courier: Seeing as Felt Chausses has roughly the same price as any other leve in this tier. So why should we bother with the singles or triples?
Overall, just suck it up and Courier. If you wanna do singles or triples, the ones I recommend above are best. But ah… doesn’t mean they’re nice. End your 2.0 WVR leveling with Courier!
Since it hasn’t been mentioned in this guide due to the relative ease of the tiers – This would be a great tier to use you Ixal Daily & Challenge Log EXP. Don’t forget your GC turn-in!
You got a lot of “free passes” via NPC buyable stuff, but I guess you gotta pay for it sometime, huh? Good luck on that last push before Ishgard!
If Grinding: Well, making any Leve item or refining Fleece into Wool and Felt will do… you’re pretty close anyway.
