RDM 50 to 60 Basic Activity Flowchart

| Main Story Quests | If you have ’em, do ’em. No ifs ands or buts. |
| Challenge Log | Passively complete this as you do other things. |
| Roulette: Trials | ANY TRIAL YOU GET is super quick to finish. Great EXP/Time Spent |
| Palace of the Dead | FAST EXP, but personally, unfun. Doesn’t need ANY GEAR. |
| Roulette: Alliance | Surprisingly very FAST! |
| Roulette: Leveling | Great EXP but sadly you may get “Sastasha tier” relatively unfun dungeons. |
| Dungeon Spam | Queueing up level appropriate dungeons is HUGE exp. Especially with chain bonus. |
| FATES | HW Fates have a bad reputation. Check the extra info clicky below |
| Sidequests | Value varies wildly on proximity to your other goals. Terrible if you can’t fly. |
| Roulette: MSQ | It can be very quick. Somehow I don’t “feel” the value as much. Cape Westwind doe… |

| Roulette: Guildhest | Garbage. |
| Levequests | Better used for DoH or DoL… terrible for combat classes. |
Fates at 50 to 60 Info
| FATE Zone | Lvl | Quick Notes |
| Coerthas Western Highlands | 50+ | Great! You’ll see some people here trying to reach 51. |
| Dravanian Forelands | 52+ | 50/50. Honestly not so bad even solo. |
| Sea of Clouds | ?? | Avoid. It generally sucks. Has a wide level range, and map is too big. |
| Churning Mists | 54+ | Great! Not a bad map, and is a pretty popular place for people to FATE |
| Dravanian Hinterlands | 58+ | Avoid. Lack of Aetheryte. Your gear upon reaching this level won’t be stellar. |
| Azys Lla | 58+ | 50/50. it was NEVER a popular place to fate, so expect a “solo flight”. |
Keep in mind FATE value is dependent on a lot of things. DPS characters with healer chocobo or some sort of sustain will always out-FATE a tank or healer class with DPS chocobo. It’s just the truth of it all.
It also depends on the “popularity” of the area. FATES become weaker the less they’re completed – so unpopular areas ain’t so bad. But, without any helpers at all – soloing may be slow. Too popular and the FATES become mega chunky.
It’s a balance of many things I can’t quantify – but I hope the above info helps.
